Stokese: "A participant in White House briefings on North American Hemispheric Affairs, Professor Stokes holds concurrent appointments as Dean and Chief Academic Officer of the Tillman School of Business, Chairman of the United States - Mexico Chamber of Commerce (Southeast), Advisor to former President of Mexico, the Honorable Vicente Fox, Advisor to the European Union Partnership for Democracy, Senior Policy Adviser to the Academy of Sciences, Republic of Moldova, and is the Founder and Executive Director of the Institute for Innovation Management. For more than 25 years Professor Stokes has been engaged in global academic diplomacy and program development. He has made representations to and has continuing relations with several current and former heads of state on behalf of US state government executive offices, US Senators and UNESCO in aid of international inter-university and academic alliances, research collaborations and other interests. Professor Stokes is practiced in facilitating international scientific and technological alliances in aid of capacity-building, innovation-based economic development and global understanding in support of UN Millennium Development Goals. Formerly a Chief Financial Officer of a Canadian-based international engineering consulting company, Professor Stokes has held senior academic and research administrative posts in Europe and in Asia. Author of five academic books and an award-winning scholar, Professor Stokes is also a well-respected international economist."
